On this day of celebration, we weep. While there are those of us who would rather be watching fireworks and eating hotdogs, I beg you to spend this day in prayer and fasting. I ask you: what are you celebrating? Our government run by pedophiles? Our wealth gained on the backs of slaves and the exploited- in this country and across the seas? Living in comfort on the stolen land of those we have murdered? You should be begging for God’s forgiveness. Your refusal to speak out makes you complicit in the sins of your American brothers and forefathers. Weep, mourn, fight- otherwise, God may punish you for your ability to dance while His children are sacrificed at the feet of the great idol called “America”.
